Recently, the results of the "2026 National Reading Promotion Case Collection Activity" hosted by the Library Journal were officially announced. The program submitted by SHNU library, emotionally Connected 'the Last Mile' Reading Therapy Services: Innovative Practices for Postgraduate Entrance and "Graduation Seasons at SHNU Library", was awarded the title of "National Reading Demonstration Case." The SHNU library's award-winning case focuses on two key moments—the postgraduate entrance exam season and the graduation season—centering on "emotional connection" and "reading as healing" to create innovative practices that serve the "last mile." During the exam season, the library launched a series of "Emotional Healing Reading for Graduate Studies" activities, offering comprehensive support to exam candidates through initiatives like a "Dream Letter Wall for Graduate Studies," sunflower bouquet giveaways, and closing music companionship, ranging from spiritual encouragement to stress relief. In the graduation season, the library fosters emotional expression through graduation-themed scenes, helping graduates use reading as a medium to fulfill emotional expressions. 延伸阅读
